BUILDING BETTER BOYS FOR 60+ YEARS

Welcome to Northville's Pack 721! We are an active Cub Scout Pack in Northville, Michigan. Boys in first through fifth grade are welcome to join at any time during the year. We are charted by Our Lady of Victory but we are in every sense a community Pack, drawing boys from many area schools.  We are one of a very few packs who have a history of more than 60 years and there are currently approximately 80 scouts in the pack.

Pack meetings take place monthly September through May and are generally on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. and may be held at OLV, Moraine or at another location in Northville. In addition to the monthly Pack meeting we also sponsor pack events of interest to the whole family.  Please explore our website for information about our exciting upcoming activities and meetings.  If you would like more information or are interested in joining Pack 721 please contact us using the link on the left hand side.  We are looking forward to speaking with you.

Come Spend a Night at the Museum IV -- Cranbrook Institute of Science & Planetarium

Posted on Mar 7 2016 - 12:57pm

We are invited to spend a night at Cranbrook Institute of Science! We will explore science, technology, and natural history through fascinating exhibits, hands-on activities and a planetarium show. From sparkling diamonds to the towering T. rex, you will find lots to do and see at Cranbrook. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with museum exploration.  During a series of hands-on workshops, discover what it’s like to be a scientist by immersing yourself in the scientific process as we investigate the physics of sound, light and simple machines. Become an expert in the laws of pressure and movement and experience the scientific method through experiments that test the theories of Bernoulli, Pascal and Newton. Find out how crystals are formed and take home a crystal-growing solution. Delve into the scientific method as we conduct experiments to discover how simple machines help us do work.  Finally, the night will be capped off with a private viewing of Cranbrook’s full dome entertainment planetarium program.  We will sleep in the exhibit hall, with breakfast served in the morning and departure at 8 a.m. Scouts must attend with parent. Siblings 5 years old and older are welcome.
